upgrades are the introduction of the Type C port and the Action button which we

Display:
The screen size of the iPhone 15 Pro
Max is 6.7”. The display comes with an Advanced Super Retina XDR OLED display
with ProMotion. The refresh rate is 120 Hz. Like the previous version of the
iPhone, it has a dynamic island. It supports HDR 10 and Dolby Vision. The peak
brightness is 2000 nits and Apple claims the typical brightness is 1000 nits.
Coming to bezels, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has fewer bezels when compared to its
previous versions. The screen-to-body ratio is almost 90%. Apart from these,
there is also a minor upgrade in Always on Display where the full screen will
be displayed now without affecting battery life.
Camera:
The main camera is 48MP with a
default resolution of 24MP. The 120 mm of pure Pro zoom with 5x Telephoto (the
longest optical zoom of any iPhone ever) can take sharper close-up images from
very far away. The state-of-the-art tetraprism design with a folded glass
structure below the lens, to reflect the light rays four times over, allows
light to travel for a longer time giving the new focal length. Apart from this,
the 3D sensor-shift optical image stabilization and autofocus in 3 directions
make the most advanced stabilization ever. The camera software comes with smart
HDR 5 and slight improvements in night modes.
Connectivity:
The major upgrade from previous
versions of the iPhone is the introduction of USB type C with a USB 3.0 port.
Thanks to EU laws it pushed all the mobile manufacturers in the region to use
type C cables mandatorily. This has increased the data speeds almost 20 times,
that is from 480MBPS to 10 Gbps from its previous version. Also, the same
single type C cable can be used for all Apple devices. The USB type C port can
also act as a display port with 4K HDR video output.
Processor:
The A17 Pro chip is the best chip
ever which is an extremely new class iPhone chip. The graphic performance by
far is the best. Apple claims the speed and efficiency have increased
drastically with the new Pro class GPU that enables games not seen
before on any smartphone. The accelerated ray tracing which is 4
times better than the software ray tracing gives very high performance in a
smartphone. The combined performance of GPU and neural engine by MetalFX
upscaling will produce high-resolution graphics and at the same with less
power. Now with 6 crores, the GPU will be faster by up to 20 times and the CPU
will be faster by up to 10 times.

The replacement of a traditional
Silent/Ring switch with a multi-tasking Action button is a nice move. The new
action button can be used as a shortcut for multiple activities such as for
keeping the phone silent, for autofocus while using the camera, capturing
photos or videos, as a flashlight switch, recording voice memos, translating
texts, as a magnifier, and other shortcuts.
Crash
Detection
